Gideon Rogers - Cult Indie Filmmaker
Aspiring video director, Gideon Rogers, is searching for
the “truth” within the world of corporate communications. Following the teachings of Konstantin Stanislavsky, he believes that a truly natural performance can only really be achieved with heavy use of an autocue and a directing style that equates actors with moveable props.
When Rogers discovers an old film school rival
is directing the prequels to “Game of Thrones”,
his own lack of success is pulled firmly into focus -
a 50 mm prime lens extreme-close-up focus and he
embarks on a cinematic odyssey through the
sunlit uplands of corporate video.
